the Potomac West neighborhood, home to one of Alexandria's most successful
"Main Streets," Mount Vernon Avenue. A variety of eclectic restaurants
and shops line the street, situated among high-quality offices and a quaint
residential community. Located within Potomac West is Northern Virginia's
only state-sponsored Enterprise Zone, which enables qualifying businesses
to receive state tax credits and grants as a result of job creation and/or
reinvestment.
