Alexandria Award-Winning Businesses
As a city, Alexandria is often honored with awards and distinctions recognizing everything from being business-friendly to being a great tourist destination. Recently, Alexandria was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the "Best Places to Do Business." In the summer of 2006, the State of Virginia was named by Forbes.com as THE Best Place to do Business.
