(Alexandria, Virginia) The Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, Inc. (AEDP) will offer a seminar dealing with Image, Branding and Leadership on Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The purpose of this seminar is to help Alexandria business owners and management understand how branding and image shape the thoughts of decision makers, clients and potential customers and to interpret a unique set of values for branding.

The seminar is being sponsored by AEDP in cooperation with Marva Goldsmith & Associates. Marva Goldsmith, President and Chief Image Officer of Marva Goldsmith & Associates will provide techniques and information to help participants explore their current personal brand and its effectiveness in their organization. Marva will specifically address the importance of image and consistency, controllable variables that impact first impressions, and how to develop a “quickie” personal branding strategy. The seminar is geared toward the needs of Business Employers, Business Owners, Self-employed Business Owners, and career women and men.

The Seminar will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Community Meeting Room at the Charles E. Beatley Jr. Central Library, 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria, Virginia. Directions are available from AEDP. This seminar is part of an ongoing series established as a business outreach and retention service by AEDP.
