MPRI Makes Commitment to Grow in the City of Alexandria; Moving Headquarters to Braddock Road Metro Area
(Alexandria, VA) – MPRI, headquartered in Alexandria since originally incorporated in 1987, has announced their planned move to the Braddock Place office complex located at the Braddock Road Metro station. MPRI, an L-3 Communications company, is a training, simulation and government services company of highly skilled and experienced military, law enforcement, diplomatic and private sector leaders, managing programs throughout the United States and in more than 40 countries overseas. General (Retired) Ron Griffith, Executive Vice President of MPRI highlighted the sense of community that Alexandria engenders. “The City of Alexandria provides a superb backdrop for MPRI and gives our employees the opportunity to enjoy the fine quality of life that this setting affords.” The move, expected to take place at the end of the summer, represents a consolidation of offices currently located in Alexandria and in other Northern Virginia jurisdictions. The new location, comprising 126,000 square feet of office space, includes room for growth and expects to house more than 250 employees. “We were pleased to work with MPRI as they weighed their options to move and are delighted that they have decided to remain and grow in the City of Alexandria,” said Alexandria Mayor William Euille, Chairman of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP). “MPRI will be a great addition to the Braddock Road Metro area and we appreciate the investment and employment they continue to contribute to the Alexandria economy.”
