(Alexandria, VA) -- The Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, Inc. has added Michael Stuart to its staff as an economic development and marketing specialist. Mr. Stuart comes to the AEDP with a fresh and progressive approach to urban planning and regional economics. Mr. Stuart’s efforts were most recently witnessed in Pittsburgh, PA where he lead a study regarding the geographic and social impact of the region’s changing economy. At AEDP, Mr. Stuart will be responsible for handling economic market research and marketing activities.

Mr. Stuart has a degree in American Studies from the George Washington University and has worked at the Coalition for Smarter Growth and the National Building Museum. He currently resides in Washington, DC.

The AEDP is a public/private partnership, which plans, directs, manages and implements efforts to attract, expand and retain business operations in the City of Alexandria. AEDP has worked since 1981 as a facilitator to establish Alexandria as a nationally recognized community and business center.
